Facebook call ads

You can set a cost per result goal in your campaign which tells Meta to optimize toward that target cost. switch to cost cap bidding instead of lowest cost and set it around your target cost per call.
but this option is not coming up in my account

There's no direct "max cost per call" cap in Facebook Ads, but you can set a cost-per-result goal in the campaign settings bid strategy to keep Facebook from spending beyond your target per call.
but in not getting that option , please guide me how can i do that , is that option is not available in my region which is india

This would not work and performance wise, it would be a bad move. You need to adjust your settings in the campaign

I don't think you can set a max cost for calls directly, I had better results by testing different audiences and ad creatives instead.

You should try setting up a manual campaign to change the bids for your ads. Avoid setting up automatic ads as they are usually more expensive.

i am running facebook call ads but call costing is coming very high almost like 10 x , in facebook ads can we setup a max cap on call conversion
you need to fix the root issues first, such as tightening your audience targeting, scheduling ads to only run during business hours when people can actually answer, and testing fresh creatives to improve your click-to-call rate

You can set a average cost per call, and Meta will serve around that number. Some calls will cost more, some less, but it averages out near your target

You can set a maximum cost per call by enabling "Cost Cap" in the ad settings, while also optimizing your audience and ad creatives.

You can try using cost controls like cost per result goal, but Meta may not always deliver if the target is too low. I would also check audience size, placements, call quality and when the calls are coming. Sometimes narrowing the right audience helps more than just setting a cap.

A bid strategy/cost cap can be implemented if your objective and account qualify for that, but it doesn't guarantee that you will incur costs at a consistent rate. I would first see how the quality of the audience, ad placements, and call duration is before implementing the cost cap.

You can use the "Cost per Result Goal" (if your account supports it) to have Meta attempt to keep costs around your desired level (though this is not guaranteed).

You can set a bid limit (Cost per Result Goal/Bid Cap) to control the cost per call.

Yes, you can use Bid Cap or Cost Per Result Goal under Bidding Strategy at the Ad Set level to cap your maximum cost per call.

But high Call Ad costs are usually caused by:

  • Ads running off-hours (no one answering).
  • Broad targeting causing unqualified clicks.
  • Weak CTA on the creative.
Set a Cost Cap slightly above your target CPA first, then optimize your schedule and targeting to bring the cost down naturally.

Yes, you can set bid control for call conversions, but if the target is too low, facebook may limit delivery. you can check your audience, placement, and creatives first, as high call costs are usually related to targeting or traffic quality....

A 10x increase in cost per call definitely sounds like something I would investigate before just increasing the budget. With Facebook call ads, I do not believe there is a simple hard cap that guarantees Meta will never spend more than a certain amount per call, although some campaign setups offer bid or cost controls.

What campaign objective and optimization are you using right now? I ask because optimizing specifically for calls versus other actions can make a big difference in who Facebook delivers ads to.

Also, when you say the call cost is 10x higher, is that compared with your previous Facebook campaigns or another advertising platform? That would help determine whether the problem is with the current campaign setup or whether calls in that audience have simply become more expensive.

Yes of course there is a way a perfect way you can use to set up max cap for call conversion

You need to focus on addressing root issues—such as narrowing your audience targeting, scheduling ads to run during business hours when people are actually available to answer calls, and testing new ad creatives to improve the click-to-call conversion rate. Additionally, you can set a target average cost per call. Meta will optimize to keep the actual cost hovering around this level; while some calls may cost more and others less, the overall average cost will tend to align with your set target.
