i believe that pinterest could be one of the major channels to generate traffic but it is not always going to generate revenue instantly. it is quite different from other platforms where content has a very short liffespan the quality pin will continue driviing traffic for a long time after it has been posted. for e commerce i would say it is more of an asset in the long run.

I think Pinterest works best as a secondary traffic source. It simply can't compete with major platforms like Facebook or Reddit when it comes to driving large amounts of traffic.

Pinterest can definitely be a primary traffic source for visual and lifestyle niches, but for most other products, it works best as a high converting secondary channel that drives sustainable, long tail traffic.
