How does pinterest work these days?

I want to understand how do you guys work on pinterest, do you guys use business accounts or buy accounts with loads of followers? Does Pinterest groeth hacking exist? Also how does the ranking work? If your pin is saved many times is it most likely to be shown to other people? Can someone genuinely explain it please? And why do pinterest accounts get banned?
ive been testing, bulk upload with csv file using claude, i get views, but low engagement to help pins get more views

Veterans always spin up standard Business Accounts to verify domains and never buy high follower pages since Pinterest is a search engine where follower counts are irrelevant, here is just flawless paired with vertical visuals optimized for AI scanning where saves serve as the ultimate signal for explosive algorithm distribution while of bans are triggered by spam filters catching rapid link spamming, keyword stuffing, unapproved bots, or multi accounting on a single IP.

Pinterest works best with niche-focused content. The more your content aligns with the platform and its audience, the better your results will be.

I think using a business account is the better option. Growing a real account with useful pins is safer than buying accounts with followers.

A business account is usually the best place to start since it gives you analytics and keeps everything above board. Pinterest growth is more about consistent, high-quality pins, good keywords, and linking to useful content than "growth hacks." Saves and engagement can help a pin get more visibility, but relevance and freshness matter too. Most account bans happen because of spammy behavior, excessive automation, misleading links, or repeated policy violations.

Pinterest is now heavily driven by search, so optimizing for search keywords is one of the biggest advantages for growing on the platform.

I've been using Pinterest, and I've noticed that it's gradually evolving into more of a search engine. It seems to be placing increasing emphasis on keywords and the relevance of content rather than just visuals.

Business accounts are usually better for tracking performance.
Saves clicks and engagement signals help Pinterest understand content quality.

A Pinterest Business account is the best choice because it gives you analytics and long-term growth without the risks of buying accounts. Pinterest mainly ranks pins based on relevance, engagement (saves, clicks, and shares) and account quality, while accounts are often banned for spammy behavior, automation or violating platform rules.
