Need advice on proxy setup for 20-phone CXT farm – can't create accounts with proxy on

I'm setting up a 20-phone CXT phone farm box for Instagram/OnlyFans automation.


I bought 10GB residential proxies from IPRoyal (sticky sessions).


I successfully applied the proxies to all 20 phones using ADB (HTTP).


Problem:

• When proxies are on, I cannot create new accounts on Instagram, Google Play, Reddit, etc. It either fails to load or gives errors.
• If I turn proxies off, creation works fine.
• The curl test shows the IPRoyal IP, so the proxy is active.
• Tried both HTTP and attempted SOCKS5 with proxy app.

Questions:

• Is it normal to create accounts with proxy off and then turn proxy on after?
• How do you guys handle account creation on phone farms with authenticated residential proxies?
• Any tips to make creation work with proxy on?
• Is IPRoyal good for this or should I switch providers?

Any feedback or experience with similar setups would be appreciated.

if everything works with the proxy off, the issue is probably the proxy pool or how it handles mobile traffic. i wouldn’t create accounts direct then suddenly switch IPs, test one phone with a different private proxy first before changing the whole setup

I'd avoid changing multiple things at once. Verify whether the issue follows the proxy, the network, or the device first—otherwise it's very hard to know what's actually causing it.

So it looks like the proxy started to work when I removed tailscale from the pc is this a safe thing to do im warming up 3 out of 20 phones at the moment
