Yes people are testing it but it's weak & inconsistent fine for short term or low competition not a solid long term strategy
That is a really fascinating point. most ppl tend to concentrate exclusively on videos in terms of SEO for uTube but the indexing of community posts adds an extra dimenssion to this. i do not think it will take the place of regular SEO practices but they might come handy in terms of winning branded searches or establishing topiical authority.

Well, they are getting indexed much more frequently these days. Although they won’t work as a long-term parasite SEO tactic, it would be worth trying out since they offer additional chances to get listed in the SER

I have seen them indexed more oten but I don't think we can rely on them as a long term SEO strategy. They can add some visibility but i will still focus on building content on assets you control.
