A bigger audience doesn't always mean a more engaged one. These days I pay more attention to saves, shares, profile visits, and DMs.
this may be heavily dependent on who ur followers actually are. if u are not engaging them and they do not care about your posts ur numbers may look good but engagement remains low. nowadays i focus much more on saves, shares nd returniing visitors who r coming back for more.Hey all,
Seen a few accounts recently where followers numbers keep increasing but likes, comments and story views do not seem to follow.
Is this mainly an algorithm issue, audience quality problem or something else? For those managing instagram pages then what metrics are you paying the most attention to these days besides follower count?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Another observation i have made is that follower acqiuisition and engagement are based on totally not related types of content. For instance, a reel may earn you many followers, who do not necessarily like your other posts. It would be better to compare the amount of engagement per type of content and see how many people return to your page.Hey all,
