One area where i have found it easier to achiieve success has been to take pages that already have search traffic in Search Console but that were still at positions 8 to 20 and just tweeak a few things on them.

Instead of only creating more pages then i focus on updating old content, filling content gaps, improving internal links and making sure the page actually solves what users are searching for. Small improvements often create better long term results.

For me, topical authority combined with high-quality, relevant backlinks is giving the best results. Instead of chasing individual keywords, I focus on building complete content clusters and then strengthen them with authoritative links. That approach has been much more consistent than relying on any single SEO tactic.

I think a lot of the replies here make good points. One thing I've noticed is that no single tactic works consistently on its own anymore. The sites I've seen perform best combine strong topical coverage, regular content updates, solid internal linking, and a handful of relevant, high-quality backlinks. Chasing one "magic" SEO trick rarely produces lasting results. A balanced strategy that genuinely helps users seems to hold up much better through algorithm updates.
I'm seeing the best result's from improving existing pages rather than creating new ones all the time, Updating content, fixing internal linking, and matching search intent has brought more traffic than most link building campaigns.
