I have seen most of the people using chatgpt for creating images lately. Is anyone tried on both? I have tried same prompt on both, and i think chatgpt gives best shot.

Given prompt for both

" Create me a image of Anime boy standing to face of dragon tha have red eyes and engage with full anger"

And result was on

But canva file size was lesser than chatgpt..

Which one do you prefer? Why?

I feel like GPT improved A LOT lately. I also use it to generate pics quite often (for social media posts) and If you have a distinct scenario in your head what do you want to see it'll create quite nice result. The only thing is that when you need to correct smth it will correct it from previous version and if you had a lot of corrections the image will have some rippled structure... I don't know how to explain this... Have someone noticed that?

ChatGPT have significantly improve its image generation model, and if the prompt is right, you can’t even tell if it’s Ai or it’s made by a professional designer

Nice comparison. I mostly use Canva, but now I'm curious about ChatGPT image generation. Has anyone tested both for thumbnails or social media designs? I'd like to know which one gives better results in daily use

ChatGPT image generation model is by far the best model right now. I have used plenty but none compares, especially when adding subtle details.

Well ChatGPT Image 2 is amazing and you just need a good extensive prompt to generate really good high quality detailed image, as for Canva i think they are using a wrapper of some sort.

I think Canva does better when creating illustration images than graphical images at least from my own experience. So maybe it's a matter of using each one for what it does best, depending on what you need.

I bet ChatGPT would do a good job creating illustration images too anyway but I have used Canva most of the time and like the results, so I don't really bother trying ChatGPT every time just to compare and see if things have changed with how it creates them now

Canvas one is better, since it would be better to animate if you had them both talking to each other. Other one is a dramatic production shot. Not meant to be there for long. Would look good as an art work though.

Also its no wonder the canva one was smaller, its smaller in dimensions, lol

Is there any way to get the ChatGPT API to generate images through a program?
Like an AI image generator or something like that

chatgpt image generation is better when you want more unique/creative concepts fast.

I have tried both and for image generation I usually get better results with ChatGPT It follows my prompts more closely especially for anime or fantasy style images Canva is still useful for editing adding text and making quick design changes after the image is generated For creating the initial artwork though I would choose ChatGPT
Yeah I have got better result when optimising prompt like make realistic,4k etch it was so good...

It depends on the work. Chatgpt is better for creating custom images from ideas, while Canva is better for editing and making quick designs.

ChatGPT is more detailed in graphics than Canva.

For me ChatGPT is much better when creating images and modern youtube thumbnails.
