This has become an interesting journey as I turn myself into a new level of moderator on Reddit and it's changing how i view the value of Reddit Subs.
Today, I saw the DailyMail posted on my subreddit from their official account. The reach was clear and had impact.
I have also a writer from various major music/city news/& entertainment blogs that has spoken with me and I am letting them make up to 3 posts daily on my site.
But more importantly............I got to thinking, a company worth $1.15B per Google AI, is now posting on my subreddit .
What's a post on my subreddit now really worth? The reach has been so great, a Billion Dollar Brand finds it important.
And this was happening admist me conversing with a person who was taking their time to close a business deal, so I exited that deal and told them i'd have to get back to them because I'm going to re-evaluate prices on my popular subs.
I'm even thinking of no longer selling a few of my popular subreddits as this 'reddit tide' seems to be getting bigger. I'm believing Reddit will be the most impactful/dominant force online in 2027 because so much money is aligning behind it.
This is my largest sub currently as I've sold some other subs recently. But this one does get milions of views on one post every day or bi-daily typically and i've just expanded to create 2 more subs that will compliment it so I can post more content and consume more of the attention of my audience.
Now, this could be me 'overthinking' it but what do you all think a post on a subreddit that the Daily Mail finds a valuable resource, is worth?
