Hey everyone,

Whenever I try to promote something on Reddit, my post or comment gets removed within about five minutes. When I check, it seems to be removed by Reddit itself rather than the usual reddit filters. This only happens when I’m promoting something, if I post regular comments to gain karma, they stay up without any issue.

Is it possible that Reddit is automatically flagging certain keywords or patterns and removing the content? I’d appreciate your thoughts on this.

Yes, it is possible that your brand name is blacklisted
I'm always duplicating my websites, buying new domains and changing names to avoid this shit
That’s what I thought. Thank you for your reply!

Just a quick update : When it's removed by reddit, the account is shadow banned 30 minutes later. Happened to me multiple times.

Yeah it happened to me when I was promoting an ai brand in ai type of subs then the account got banned one survived which got lowest cqs now

I found if you've recently been temp banned then the filters are 100x worse.

It also seems in general that Reddit is much harsher now with it's filters.

Is very possible your brand to be banned or to lead to your reddit account being banned. Try to rename it to pass this limitation

Hi Monster lover.

Reddit is hellscape of the WOKE agenda. Probably some 'trigger word' you thought was totally innocent but put you into their crosshairs.

Just a name of a streaming website.
Steaming sites are spam sites. Obviously someone out for a quick buck with a scammy type service. So they get removed easier. Better develop things that are similar to what you see people advertising and having no problems with. Things that are interesting that don't ask for your cc and crypto details in hundreds of popups! lol

I tried to promote an ai brand even in the body with like - the before the brand not got posted then even I tried to paste title only it wasn't going through

Sounds like Reddit's spam filters are catching your promotional patterns. Try being more organic and contribute consistently before promoting.

Good suggestion, but it requires more budget and effort. When considering the current situation, if someone is serious about the Reddit game. This is one of the things to follow.

Could be. Reddit is pretty aggressive with anything that looks promotional. I'd spend more time building a normal account first and keep promotions to a minimum.

Reddit is getting much stricter with promotional content. It may help to focus on providing value and building a posting history in relevant communities before sharing anything promotional.

I ran into something similar a while back. My regular posts were fine, but anything that looked promotional disappeared pretty quickly. I stopped making the post sound like an ad, and that helped a lot.

Are you using the same landing page every time? Sometimes changing the wording isn't enough if Reddit already distrusts the destination you're linking to.

Reddit's global filter has flagged your account's spam footprint, meaning dropping raw links, untrusted domains, or sales heavy keywords triggers an instant AI removal, the veteran workaround is posting pure value driven text without any links
