My traffic increased but rankings did not move

Iwould check Search Console first. Sometimes rankings for your main keywords don't move, but the page starts picking up a lot of additional long tail queries, which is enough to increase traffic without any obvious position changes.

Traffic can grow even when the main keywords stay in the same position because more long tail searches start bringing visitors. I also pay close attention to clicks and conversions, not just rankings.
