Old accounts often hit hidden spam filters if posting behavior shifts, because the algorithm now heavily prioritizes initial engagement velocity and sub-specific Contributor Quality Score CQS over total karma.Hi everyone,
I have noticed something strange recently.
Some of my older Reddit accounts have decent karma, account age and a clean posting history but their new posts are struggling to get traction. At the same time, I have seen newer accounts get much better engagement on similar content.
I always thought account age and karma played a bigger role but now I am not so sure.
Has anyone else noticed this ? What factors do you think matters most for post visibility these days ?
