My Aged Reddit Accounts are not performing well

Hi everyone,

I have noticed something strange recently.

Some of my older Reddit accounts have decent karma, account age and a clean posting history but their new posts are struggling to get traction. At the same time, I have seen newer accounts get much better engagement on similar content.

I always thought account age and karma played a bigger role but now I am not so sure.

Has anyone else noticed this ? What factors do you think matters most for post visibility these days ?
Old accounts often hit hidden spam filters if posting behavior shifts, because the algorithm now heavily prioritizes initial engagement velocity and sub-specific Contributor Quality Score CQS over total karma.

Age and Karma are just the beginning) but it seems to me that new accounts work better right now.. and old ones that are 1-2 years old not always... and you have to take a lot of things into account, like publishing the post on time + timing + maybe being a bit more active + IP.

I had that issue aswell. I figured that IP is important and switched my IP. At first it was better then after a while my aged ones werent as good as the new ones. Its a mix for me.

Karma and account age only help you bypass spam filters without boosting post visibility, Reddit’s current algorithm prioritizes early engagement velocity, compelling titles, and posting during peak subreddit hours.
