competitors backlinks analysis worked Surprisingly well for me....

One approach that perfformed surprisingly well was taking care of improving user experience in addition to seo optimization. Such small tweaks as making text more readable, improving page speed nd providing more precise answers to user queries resulted in higher engaggement. In my opinion SEO works most efficiently when the visitor comes first.
 
One thing that worked well for me was targeting long tail keywords. They had less competition and brought more relevant visitors.

I have a similar setup to you and have been doing it for some time and one of the easier strategies to automate. The only downside is we have some time to create accounts on those self-hosting sites and create solid tier 1 and the rest is automating with GSA SER. Do you automate tier 1 too? I am looking to automate tier 1 and still I couldn't find anything permanent. I know Money Robot has decent referring domains from their PBN however their price is insane and it can be used only once or twice per project so not worth it. I am now trying to automate tier 1 also with GSA SER.
 
optimizing internal linking delivered better results than i expected. connecting related pages more effectively helped improve rankings for existing content without creating a lot of new articles
 
One thing that surprised me was improving internal linking on older pages I wasn't expecting much, but after connecting related content more effectively, a few pages started gaining visibility without publishing new articles

for me, however, the most surprisinng thing was cutting down on content rather than increasing it. deleting the poor quality, redundant pages and making better content from them has really improved the site, as well making the rest of the pages perform better.
 
Diversification of Money Sites

Tools & Strategy

GSA SER + RankerX/Money Robot + AI is the cheapest combo at scale to dominate mass site production.

On “White Hat” SEO At this point, there’s no such thing if it ever existed as “white hat.” The idea is to create a site so good that others will link to it naturally. Well, good luck with that in any competitive niche you’ll grow gray hair before you scale. It’s a waste of time and resources, and even if you do everything “white hat,” you can still get penalized.

the one approach that actually surpased my expectations was concentrating on internal linking that made sense. rather than blindlly stuffing in as many links as i could possibly find room for i created links between pages that were related to each other. this approach worked well in helping search engines understand how my site is structtured.
 
Updating old pages worked better than I expected. A few small changes brought back traffic that was slowly dropping.
 
Publishing fewer but more comprehensive articles has outperformed my previous approach. In the majority of competitive niches, quality continues to outpace quantity.
 
One thing I've found interesting is how much difference small content improvements can make over time. Refreshing outdated information, improving internal links, and making sure the page answers the search intent clearly seem like changes that are easy to overlook. They're not as exciting as chasing new tactics, but they often make more sense as a long-term approach.

for me updating old content worked better than expected. refreshing outdated information and improving links gave some pages a noticeable boost without creating new articles.
 
From someone who's into hard competition niches: a mimic/manipulation of organic social traffic to established pages - this one tactic I have been using for quite some time, and it gives us better results very quickly.

one thing that surprised me was updating older content instead of focusing only on new posts a few small improvements and better internal linking seemed to make a noticeable difference i am still figuring things out so Id be interested to hear what has been working well for everyone else

the most significant improvement for me has been that of search intent. rather than simply concentrating on keywords i focused on the intentions of users while writing content nd making it more user friendlly. this resulted in better SEO perfformance than i had anticiipated.

For me refreshing old pages with better search intent and adding a few strong internal links has worked surprisingly well Some rankings improved faster than publishing brand new content
