Start the fundamentals keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, and content optimization. Once that is done, learn link building. Most beginners fail because they chase shortcuts instead of building a strong SEO foundation.

Hi everyone,

I'm just getting started with black hat SEO and would like to learn from those with more experience.

What beginner-friendly methods do you think are worth learning first? Are there any techniques that still work well in 2026, or common mistakes that new people should avoid?

I'd appreciate any tips, resources, or advice based on your experience. Thanks!
I would say start with the basics. Do not look for quick wins. A common mistake is trying to do too many methods at once. Select one aproach learn how it works nd be patient. Consistency nd testing usually yield better results than trying different strattegies all the time.

In my opinion, an error made by novices is looking for a winning strategy before learning to analyze outcomes. The world of SEO is rife with techniques that sometimes work but often do not. By being able to assess why the pages appear in the SERP and testing your own assumptions rather than just repeating another , you will develop faster .

The biggest error made by new comers is following techniques without knowing how to explain the concepts underlying them.
For me, making mistakes and studying them turned out to be more productive than implementing another person approach.
since SEO is something dynamic, the skill of analyzing the result becomes more useful than any other technique.
A good starting point can easily makes your experimentation more productive.

If you are just started then start by learning how search engine works before trying any advanced methods. Understanding the basics will help you to avoid common mistakes and make it easier to know what actually works

Bro dont start seo right away with blackhat is take time to learn the principles of seo and how it works ...... starting with blackhat add complexity right away is not a smart way to do it

start by learning seo fundamentals first. understanding technical seo, keyword research, and quality link building will give you a much stronger foundation than jumping straight into black hat methods

Beginners usually concentrate on looking for ways to take shortcuts, but knowing why things work is more important.
SEO practices are constantly changing, and using outdated tactics without trying them yourself first could take up a great deal of your tym.
i believe the best strategy would be to study firstly the fundamentals and try out tactics on smaller projects.
Measure your results and make one small change at a time.

Don't try every method at once, Pick one strategy, test it properly and understand why it works before moving on to something else

Most beginners struggle because they chase shortcuts instead of learning from their own results

What I would really concentrate on is how to evaluate the risks and rewards of using certain tactics rather than simply whether they works in terms of ranking pages. in most cases, if an approach helps you quickly improve your position but cannot be used for diagnuosis later, it would probably be worth learning from.
