Can Monero replace Bitcoin in long term?

In my opinion, Bitcoin is still the leading cryptocurrency, and I don't think any other cryptocurrency will be able to replace it.

In my opinion, Monero has the potential to replace Bitcoin in the long term.

Bitcoin is no longer truly anonymous and is subject to strict regulations.

Monero and Zcash are the only major cryptocurrencies that are currently still truly anonymous and can practically never be regulated.

Essentially, Monero is today what Bitcoin was in the 2010s.

What do you think about it?
Monero has stronger built-in privacy than Bitcoin, but replacing Bitcoin would require overcoming its massive network effect, liquidity, and institutional adoption.
I think both can coexist, with Bitcoin as digital gold and Monero as the leading privacy-focused cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin and monero are different crypto currencies with identity of cryptocurrency bitcoin is stable coin different from others such as nft, meme with different currency spoof generate to serve as hot coin.

well, without bitcoin the focus to break the privacy in Monero would be even higher that what it is today. So i would say that having Bitcoin around, helps in the endevour of keeping Monero as a REAL privacy coin.

I am disturbed there aren't more privacy oriented coins trying to compete with XMR.
