Why Are Some Facebook Pages Growing With Almost No Posts?

I think older viral posts, strong shares, and good audience interest help those pages grow. Posting every day is not enough. Quality content and engagement seem more important now.

simply postting frequently doesn't guarantee an increase in engagement , in fact posting too much can sometimes cause it to drop , as it can become annoying . It is better to post less often but ensure the content is effective
 
Some Facebook pages with no posts still have followers; they may be using paid advertising or developing other platforms to attract viewers and followers on Facebook.
 
Many fast-growing Facebook pages succeed by leveraging strong niche branding, shareable content, collaborations, and existing audiences—so quality and distribution often matter more than posting frequency.
 
Older viral posts can keep bringing in followers. Shareable, high-quality content often outperforms frequent posting.
 
There is a good chance they could be running Facebook Ads which could be getting followers as result of this activity
 
I think content quality and shares matter much more than posting every day. A few strong posts can outperform daily average content. Curious to hear what strategies are working for everyone else.

It's also possible that this page bought those interactions.
 
I think my posts gain more traction because I use multiple accounts with AdsPower to give them an initial boost, and it definitely pushes my posts into higher reach organically.

From what I've seen it's because reach on FB is content-driven now, not volume-driven, one post that actually gets shared out does more than 30 that nobody interacts with. Those quiet pages usually have a few pieces that hit and keep pulling reach through shares long after posting, so they grow without needing to post daily. Posting every day can even hurt you if the content is mid, because low-engagement posts drag your average and FB shows the next one to fewer people. The "post more" advice is old, these days it's more about a few things that travel than constant output.

often, the sites that receive less activity through fewer posts contain material which has greater longievity. a single gud post which continues to be liked, commented upon, or recommended will bring many more followers than constant posts which go un remarked upon. in my opinion, this reflects a change in priorities from how often you post to what you post.

One observation that I have made is that the identity focused pages keep growing despite of posting rarely. This happens due to the fact that people already know what to expect, and facebook continues to show old posts that keep getting engagemient. posting rarely is not the benefit relevance of content is.
 
Posting more doesn't necessarily mean growing faster. In many cases, pages that grow with fewer posts are benefiting from higher-quality content, strong shares, evergreen posts, and effective Reels that continue getting distributed over time.

Most people tend to measure growth based on posting frequency however, distribuition tends to be generated by content that is continuously generating reactions even after its initial promotion. Gud content has the ability to continues bringing in new people even many weeks after posting, whereas poor daily posts fizzle out.

Fb algorithm is now an AI Discovery Engine that prioritizes private shares and dwell time, allowing a few hyper focused posts to be continuously pushed to non followers for passive growth, whereas spamming daily content only dilutes your quality score and kills your organic reach.
