Anyone here using Commision programs to monetize their subreddit?

I have such niche specific groups that I'm going to begin doing this as I can see the money easily.

I'd love to know who's really crushing this way and has anybody made 5 figures a month in this type of subreddit business model.

Yes, it is possible, but the community comes first. If members trust your content, relevant affiliate offers can convert surprisingly well. Many people fail because they monetize too early instead of building engagement first. A well-managed niche subreddit definitely has strong earning potential.

It works, but can also be risky and get your sub shut down. I find the best way is to use info and articles with major services such as x and insta and funnel them to a landing page or website you own. Direct sales links or landing pages are becoming a thing of that past on reddit directly. You have to sell without selling.

i would say that the key is keeping promotions relevant and valuable rather than making subreddit look like an ad promotion.

I think affiliate links can work well if the subreddit already has active members. The audience needs to see value, not just ads.

I think it is possible, but the subreddit needs a very targeted audience. A small active community can sometimes perform better than a large general one.

i’ve seen this work when the subreddit is super niche and you post value first, then only monetize offers you’d genuinely recommend otherwise conversions stay low and mods get annoyed.
