internal linking. not sexy, not new, and nobody sells expensive courses about it. i've seen people spend thousands chasing backlinks while leaving their best pages buried three clicks deep. google can't value what your own site barely points to.

I think search intent is still one of the most overlooked factors. A lot of website focus on keywords and content length, but if the page doesn't match what users are actually looking for, ranking and engagement often suffer regardless of how well optimized the content is.
A clean structure often outperform chasing every new SEO trend.

Content pruning is something else I think is undervalued. people publish new pages but neglect old content which is irrelevant or bad and reduces topical releveancy. sometimes getting rid of those pages is more producctive than creating a new one.
