Is Facebook organic reach declining or just changing?

Facebook's reach is decreasing, and Meta is verifying accounts, so the scanning process will be stricter.

It feels more like organic reach is changing than disappearing Content that gets real engagement still seems to perform better than posts made just for reach

Pages and profiles that used to get solid engagement now seem hit or miss....
No ads and no links still inconsistent reach. Anyone else noticing changes recently?
It’s definitely changing, and honestly, they're tightening the screws on "ghost engagement."

I’ve been testing a few non-ad profiles recently. Facebook's algorithm currently hates static posts that don't trigger immediate, high-value conversation in the comments. Even without links, if your initial 10-minute engagement velocity is low, the post is dead on arrival.

Found a neat workaround using a specific comment-triggering framework that forces the algo to push the post back up. Still testing the limits, but the initial reach bump is solid. Anyone else seeing success with comment-looping lately?

It is a combination of both. For the majority of Fanpages, organic reach has declined significantly compared to years past, but at the same time, the way Facebook distributes content has also changed.
