Pages and profiles that used to get solid engagement now seem hit or miss....
No ads and no links still inconsistent reach. Anyone else noticing changes recently?

Yes—recently Meta has been doing large-scale sweeps, so stricter scanning is clearly happening.

To be precise, pages with fewer than 1 million followers were strongly affected.

I think there is a high possibility that the VIA is weak, so the page will die upon creation.

Reach is down for old style posts. Fb pushes reels and fresh engagement signals more now. Organic is still there but the format changed.

Pages with few followers will gradually lose engagement, my friend. You need to post more frequently and with better content; that will help you gain good traffic.

If a page hasn't been used for a long time, it's simply taken over by competitors

Facebook basically wants you to pay to play now, it's been the vibe for years

Well its just the logical game that start to play for few years .You need to pay to get reach ,i hope you understand what i mean

Simply put, those pages were inactive for a while, so their engagement dropped and they couldn't compete with pages that are regularly active and have better content.

maybe changing cause i'm still seeing newer accounts go viral and get engagement.

That's just a FB thing I think. And we keep the content flow consistent is a important thing.

feels more like changing than dying
reach is all over the place now, one post does well, next one gets nothing for no clear reason
seen the same even without links or promos
looks like fb just pushes stuff in waves now, not steady like before
if a post catches early engagement it goes, if not it just disappears

It's definitely changing. Facebook is pushing Reels and Group content over standard Page posts right now.

I think its changing more than simply dying Basic page posts get weak reac but groups Reels discussion posts, and strong early engagement can still work Facebook wants content that keeps people interacting inside the platform

Facebook is cracking down hard on fake fan pages.
These fan pages are called violating fan pages due to spamming.

views are still there but the content type has changed. Pure posts no longer get seen, you want to combine a good description with vertical videos, and a good hook. If you can make your fb videos feel like tiktok videos, that will work great
