[AMA] How I made $17 538 in two months with webcam

Here’s how the process looked like:

The model and the operator clock in at the same time; they handle the inbound traffic and requests on the webcam pages. While the model is performing, the operator is handling the chats, booking private shows, and filtering out spam from the chats. I have my system running and constantly check if the model is hitting the first page of the platforms.

Here are some details:

Streaming platforms:
- Chatrubate
- Stripchat
- Streammate
- MyFreeCams

!! Stream simultaneously only if you have the capacity otherwise it's wasted potential. Just because you are on the first page doesn't mean you are making any sales.

Schedule:
- The model was streaming 5h a day for 5 days a week.

The set-up:
- We optimized our set-up to have only a phone, laptop, tripod, and some toys. The room was organized to look tidy and comfortable. Each stream we had our own content script (outfit, positions, placement, etc.)

The pages:
- Mostly organized as if a solo model is managing everything herself (slightly amateurish).

The model:
- The model at some point in the past had decided to stream herself. Didn’t get any results and stopped doing it. We worked with her pages, adjusted them, filled with content, and started everything from 0 again.

Recruiting process:
- IG mass dm’s. I sent out 100k dm’s and got 8 leads, 4 were too old (35+), 2 were guys and 2 were good. Both went through training but one of them dropped out and blocked me on the first day of streaming. Both were experienced.
- I tried Meta ads recruiting with aged accounts + BM's but Meta was very iffy with webcam offers specifically for recruiting. My aged accounts would get suspended in a few hours + had 2 BM's banned even though the offer was cloaked both on content and in-link.

Team: (3 people) me, the model, the webcam operator, and at some moments a content strategist as well.

Task distribution:

The model: streams and interacts with the audience.
The operator: chats with the viewers and spenders. Sets up the private shows.
Me: I handle inbound traffic and boosting on the site. The model was constantly on the first pages while streaming. She + operator couldn’t handle it so we moved only to streaming to max 3 sites simultaneously (can't have several private shows simultaneously).

Finding a hard-working model with good mental state, that is decent looking and open-minded to doing webcam daily is far more difficult than finding regular OF models.. I knew if i launched a 100k mass dm campaign to Columbia I would have gotten like 10-20 leads interested in working with me

What exactly do you mean by that? Can you boost models on Cam sites?
Also you handled inbound traffic, in what way exactly? I am asking bacause you said chatting was done by the operator so what other ways does the traffic need to be handled

I know you're not a lawyer or tax advisor, but do you think it's okay to sign contracts with models also if one does not have an LLC registered but rather only just a Sole Proprietorship?

There where I live registering a local LLC requires a lot of money and is much more complicated than a Sole Prioprietorship.

I ask about this because after all, I have a feeling that in sexcams compared to OF since the payments go from sexcams website owner and not between you and the model or vice-versa, there is another actor that somehow might influence or take from us some responsibilities when compared to typical OF agency.

Going back to a wider perspective on all that, I wonder what you think about my question.
