Are most people searching on AI tools instead of google ?

I have seen the same pattern. While AI is becoming people first choice it has not made searching obsolete yet. It only means that websites must have some added value things that people do not get from just using AI nd r not readily availabble anymore.

In my opinion, the major shift is not the movement away from google but the search process that has become multi-stage. Users can find information via artificial intelligience and then verify it at the websites level. Websites offering first hand data and experience will have an advantage through both mediums.

AI is changing discovery but google is still my biggest traffic sources.

AI changing discovery but SEO isn't going away anytime soon.

The major difference is not that people stop using google entirely, but that people use different software at different research stages. I realized that AI is great at providing a quick overview of the topic, but when it comes to making any decision, comparison or going deep into the topic, people still prefer searching. the current task is to create content that provides more than a simple overview.
