How do you value your subreddits when selling?

Per User? Per views?

I've had people approach me on selling and thinking of doing so soon here in the Marketplace.

I'd like to know what people are valuing these subs as in 2026.

One thing I do know, one big sub can definitely do A LOT for any reddit marketing business if utilized right.

A second fact, Reddit is a gold mine for Crypto , OF , Social media influencer clip farming.... probably at least until early 2027. I'm sure other niches i'm not aware of as well.

Would love to hear others' views on this.

I guess people just sell and move on. Sheesh. Not a single character response.
 
From what I’ve seen, nobody really pays per user or per view anymore. It’s mostly about niche + engagement quality + how “monetizable” the traffic is. A 10k active crypto sub can beat a 100k dead one easily.

Buyers care more about:
– how easy it is to post/drive clicks
– avg engagement per post
– spam/mod control (no bans/limits)
– niche demand (crypto, OF, finance still highest)

Views alone don’t really matter unless they convert.

It varies. For them it's about the ROI. If a subreddit with 50,000 subscribers cost $500. They believe that reddit will at least double their money. You should check out the playerup site. That will help you gage your subreddits value.

Lol In my niche you can make $500 with 5 clients.. easy...............Wild . 50K for $500 in what niches?

Any crypto subs being sold like this?

I've watched clients make 6 figures in 3 months with Reddit on crypto with our marketing. I'd love to own a few of those.

I think a lot of factors go into it, not least of all the specific niche.

Finance-based niches will obviously sell for more, but they also need to have high engagement. I think it also depends on how you market it to potential buyers, plus a bit of luck

I've found niches where you can give people paid promotions for music & social media followings is very profitable.

Good enagement on a singel post can boost their followings by 1000% overnight

Sounds wicked. Is 1000% the absolute max boost overnight or could paid promotions do even more if they are absolutely epic? Like is 1150% possible in an absolute dream scenario?
