Tumblr offers a variety of features , from posting text, photos , GIFs and videos to reblogging ,tagging, customizing blogs and interacting with communities . every one seems to use the platform a little differently.

which tumblr features do you use the most and why?

I mostly use reblogging and tagging. Reblogging helps me stay active without always creating new content, and tags bring in most of the discovery traffic.
 
I mostly post photos and GIFs because they get more engagement and are quick to browse.
 
I probably use tags and reblogs more than anything else. They make it easier to reach people with similar interests, and I've found that consistent interaction works better than posting alone.
 
I have been using Tumblr for the last 4 years. I mostly use text posts, tags, GIFs and reblogs. Good tags help people find your content and reblogging is still one of the easiest ways to reach a wider audience on tumblr.

In my opinion, tumblr’s strength can be attributed to its tagging system and its reblogs. tags help one to find content, wherea reblog create natural reach. It is much more important to maintain consistency in your post than to follow every new trend.
 
Tumblr remains fascinating as it has been described to be more user-driven compared to other social networking sites. You will get better results when you understand your niche, tag yourself accordingly, and engage with the community rather than just dropping links.
 
I am primarily a fan of tagging, reblogging, and niche communities. Tagging is good for discoverability, and reblogging might work wonders depending on the type of content and the target audience. It is the community aspect that distinguishes Tumblr from regular social feed updates,,
 
I use tags the most. They are simple but still one of the best ways to get discovered by people interested in the same topics.

I maximize Reblogging combined with keyword Tagging because reblogs create an infinite viral loop that keeps posts alive and gathering reach for years, while tags are the ultimate tool to penetrate the right niche communities.
 
Commenting and liking posts are the two Tumblr features I use the most. They help me increase engagement and build stronger connections with other users.
 
I mostly use reblogging and tags because they're the easiest way to discover interesting content and connect with people who share the same interests. I also like scrolling through GIFs and photo posts since Tumblr has a unique creative vibe that you don't really find on other platforms.
