Write with an intent. Pick one and make sure your writing evolves around it. And then SEO. This is the best combination. I use the same and honestly, most of my articles rank today.

As a beginner, I would focus on understanding search intent before writing. Try to create content that genuinely answer the user's question better than the pages already ranking on google. I believe that ranking becomes much simpler when u shift from writing for search engines to writing for actual ppl. Choose the subjects that will allow u to bring in ur personall experience address issues that other writers do not nd create an article that will actually be usefful.

A lot of beginners focus too much on word count and Keywords, but the real difference comes from understanding what the reader is trying to solve. I usually look at top ranking pages, find what they are missing, and add better examples, clearer explanations, and real value instead of just rewriting the same Information.

While many assume that quality writing involves lengthy articles, this is not the case since it is all about addressing the subject from the perspeictive of the audience. when researching before writing an article, I look at the questions which remain not answered by reading the top articles on the subject.
