Hi, everyone,
I am new to blogging and have been publishing content consistently for a few months. the pages are getting indexed, but the traffic is still very low.
I am not sure if the issue is my keyword research, content quality, or lack of backlinks.
Any advice would be appreciated

Normal for a new blog tbh, indexing ≠ rankings yet.
Most likely it’s either keywords too competitive or not enough search intent matched.
Backlinks help but don’t expect much at this stage without strong on-page + long-tail terms.
Keep posting + check GSC for queries you’re actually showing up for.
 
Getting indexed is a good first step but traffic usually takes time I would review keyword targeting improve content quality and build a few relevant backlinks Consistency and patience are important because most blogs grow slowly in the beginning
 
A few months is still quite early in blogging ,so don't get discouraged. Even if your pages are indexed. It can take time for them to start ranking and bringing in traffic. I would first look at your keyword research. try targeting low-competition ,longtail keywords that people are actively searching for.
 
I am still learning too, but if your pages are getting indexed, then Google can already find them. Maybe check if people are searching for the topics you are writing about. Also, look at the pages that are already ranking and compare them with yours. Sometimes the topic is too competitive, sometimes the content needs more detail, and sometimes a new blog just needs more time.
 
If your blog is getting indexed but traffic is low, first check keyword competition indexed pages do not always mean people are searching for those topics.

Most new blogs struggle because the keywords are too competitive or the content isn’t better than what’s already ranking.

I’d start with easier long-tail keywords, improve old posts, and check Search Console to see which pages are getting impressions.
 
dont stress too much, getting indexed is step one. focus on longtail keywords that actually get searched, make your posts super useful, and share them in niche forums/socials. backlinks help but content + small outreach usually works first.
 
Indexing doesn't mean you are ranking. You have to rank your keywords to bring traffic.
 
Get help of seo tools to find better keywords and queries. try to go for keywords with low competition and better kw volume.

Also get into your niche communities. Don't promote your website there, just subtly mention your brand once or twice.
 
If you are indexing but not getting clicks, you might be targeting terms that are too competitive. Try focusing on low-competition, long-tail keywords that your new site can actually rank for.
 
I usually get a bit more traction by dropping super-specific blog posts answering weird little questions people actually search for, even if the keyword tools say it's small potatoes. Instead of trying to out-muscle big sites, I just go extra niche with several posts that link to each other, and that eventually makes Google notice me. Also, I poke around Google Search Console often to spot slow risers and beef those up.

Indexing is just about discovery, not a traffic light. I would check out the impresions from GSC, the ranks, and how well the keywords fit with the user is intent. sometimes, a few keywords tell me what Google is willing to rank.
