Before buying a backlink I check if the website is relevant has real traffic and publishes quality content I also look at its backlink profile and make sure the link will fit naturally in the article instead of looking spammy.
 
Before buying, I search Google for a few recent articles from that site if Google is not indexing fresh content consistently i dont expect my guest post to perform any better
 
traffic trend is the first thing, a site losing traffic fast is a bad buy regardless of DR. then check topical relevance to your niche.
 
One thing nobody mentioned here is checking the outbound link pattern of the site. If they're linking out to casinos, crypto, cbd all in the same "marketing tips" blog... thats a red flag no matter how good the traffic looks. Also worth pulling the referring domains in ahrefs and seeing if the traffic is actualy coming from links or if its just one lucky article carrying the whole site.

@RyanCrawls point about indexing is underrated tbh. Ive seen sites with decent DR that Google basically ignores now, guest post sat there for months doing nothing. Fresh cache date tells you more than DR ever will imo.

From the organic traffic perspective, if I'm getting a backlink from a website it should have some organic traffic, and that traffic should be relevant to the same niche as my website.
 
I look at things like organic traffic, spam score, link profile, and whether the site looks genuine before considering a backlink.

I check whether the site has real organic traffic, is relevant to my niche, and has a natural backlink profile. buy one quality hing DA link
 
There’s more to consider than just the DA/DR scores. Does the site have traffic? Content that’s relevant to what I need? Is the site’s link portfolio clean and does it actually maintain its site? A relevant link from a small trusted domain beats an irrelevant high metric link

first I start with the fundamental is there any traffic at all? Is the indexation process stable? Is the outbound linking sound? It’s important for a backlink to be organic and cohesive regardless of whether or not it was actualy bought.
 
Organic traffic is checked for first, along with Relevance and whether the website has natural backlinks. The use of metrics like DR is helpful, but there’s no way I would buy a backlink purely based on these figures,,
 
I usually check where the site ranks, what kind of content it publishes, and whether real people visit it before considering a link.

the real worth of a website is not assesed through just DR and DA alone rather, it is through a combination of element that are taken into consideration before placing a link there.
 
Before buying, I search the website on Google. If most of its pages are indexed and ranking, it’s usually a better sign.
 
I look at relevance first, then check if the page is indexed, has real traffic, and publishes quality content. Metrics alone don't tell the whole story.
 
I normally make sure of the relevance, traffic quality, linking, and history of the site before making a purchase. DR/DA alone could give false information; a relevant website with real organic traffic is normally better than a spammy high-metric website.
