Is Pinterest still good for driving website traffic?

yeah invictus nailed the core, treat it as search not social. but the real answer depends on your niche, thats the variable nobody mentions. pinterest still sends real outbound traffic for visual + commercial niches, home, recipes, fashion, diy, weddings, printables, products, and almost nothing for text/non-visual stuff like saas or b2b. its also been quietly suppressing outbound clicks to keep people on-platform, so its harder than 3 years ago, but for the right niche its still one of the best free evergreen sources since pins compound for months. whats the niche or site youd be sending the traffic to? that basically decides if its worth your time.

I think it probably depends on the niche.I have heard it still works well for things like home,food,fashion and DIY bit i am curious id its performing well outside those areas too.

However I believe that Pinterest can be worth all the trouble, especially when u have chosen a right niche. This social site never produces quick results but I can see how traffic builds up through contiinuous pinning right use of keywords nd regular posting. It is better to treat Pinterest as a search engine rather than as a social site.

Pinterest can still be a good traffic source especially for niches like home, DIY, recipes, fashion, travel and blogging. The key is posting consistently and creating pins that people actually want to click. I would not rely on it alone but it is definitely worth testing.
