I have noticed that many people are using Chatgpt, Gemini and other AI tools to find answers instead of searching on google. If more people keep doing this then it can change the way we create the content and and where our website traffic comes from.

Have you notice any changes because of this or is google still bringing you more visitors ?

Yes, AI tools are definitely changing how people find information and I'm seeing more users get answers directly from them. Google still brings a large share of traffic, but creating helpful, trustworthy content that AI and search engines can both understand is becoming more important.

The answer is NO. Majority is still using Google especially in developing or under developing countries.

I think people are using both method. AI is growing fast, but Google is still the main traffic source for most websites.

AI can provide one more level of discovery for me but it will not substitute google. the key point here is to produce such content that will provide users with a great experience but still be undestandable by search engine and AI.

For me, however, the most significant shift is not the one where Google becomes extinct but rather the dispersal of the entire process of searching. One person could find something through artificial intelligence and continue using Google for comparison or verification purposes. Sites that earn genuine authority could use both means.

I'm definitely seeing people use AI for quick answers, but Google is still my biggest traffic source.

I think AI is changing how people search, not replacing search entirely so it's worth optimizing for both.

No doubt, peoples are definitely using AI tools for quick answers now, but Google is still my major source of traffic. What has changed is that I am optimizing content for both Google and AI search because users are discovering information in different ways than they did a year ago.

Yes, be prepared of next big shift. On regular google search, its feel like wasting time, especially for info based searches. Not all, but these blog type sites will gone for sure.

Traffic sources are changing. Instead of just trying to rank 1 on Google search, you now need to create highly unique content so AI tools like chatgpt find your site and recommend it.

While people definitely use AI tools for quick answers or brainstorming, Google is still driving the vast majority of transactional and buyer-intent traffic. Most users switch back to traditional search engines when they need to verify sources, check real-time local reviews, or actually buy a product. The big shift is that content needs to focus more on deep, hands-on experience rather than basic info that an AI chatbot can summarize instantly.

This trend is clearly obbservable. While AI is employed for instant information Google remains the preferred source for in depth investigation nd analysis of multiple resources. This in my opiniion implies that websites will have to pay even more attention to their uniqueness, experience nd non substitutable content.

AI to me is simply one more move in the same game not a replacement at all yet. gogle remains the clear leader for the majority of intent-based searche but content that offers experience data and insights will defintely do beter using both method.

I think people are using AI tools to get quick answers but google is the main source when they want detailed explanation or want to compare different options.

I see AI as a complement to search not a complete replacement.

AI will definitely change how we learn but personaly, I do not think there is much change in the proces itself. those that wil definitely suceed are those that provide actual expertise and experience as factual data can easily be substituted with AI sumary.

Just like bing and other SE exist people dont really know much unless they are educated or young or techy.

Exactly it
Many people don't even know about AIs
This world is still very poor for most people, AI surpassed Google on developed bubbles, but in general it's still behind

I have gone back to asking google because they improved their search engine.

Yeah, it is becoming more obvious by now. Google still sends, most of the traffic for a lot of websites, but the AI tools are beginning to take away clicks for those basic “how to” type informational searches. In the future, content that brings original thoughts, hands-on experience, and distinctive data is more likely to get search visibility plus AI citations, rather than writing that just rephrases what is already out there.

No most people still use google for search but ai tools are growing fast for quick answers & research
