how do you recover from a sudden drop in pinterest traffic?

Pinterest has been tweaking their algorithm quite a bit. they're putting a bigger emphasis on fresh content and original images. If you're just recycling old pins or using a lot of automated tools, that might explain the drop.

I recently noticed s significant drop in my pinterest traffic and i am trying to undersatnd what might have caused it .My pinning activity has remained fairly consistent but impressions ,clicks and overall traffic have declined noticeably.

for whose who have experienced something similar , what steps did you take to identify the issue and recover your traffic?

would appreciate hearing about your experiences.
This is something I have noticed happening before nd my first step would be to determine if the dip in performance is due to impressions or clicks. There r often algorithm updates, seasonal trends, and shifts in user search trends that impact results, not necessarily something related to ur account. Top performing pins nd refreshed pins should help to pinpoint what works now.

Review your keywords, board relevance, and pin designs, small SEO and creative updates can help regain impressions.

It happened to me before as well. i did not go through a whole change. i just compared my current pins with the previous ones that workked well for me. This helped me identify where things had gone wrong. Sometiimes it is just a phase nd i need to maintain consisttency nd make a few changes here nd there.

I have experienced something similar where i decided to go back nd take note of what changes there have been since the last few weeks. i discovered that some of the old pins of mine were being folowed while the new ones were not. this has enabled me to understtand what changes need to be made. In my view it is better to look for patterns in top perfforming content.

I think maybe check which pins lost the most traffic. It can help you understand what changed and what needs to improve.

Before completely overhauling my strategy, I first check out which pages are receiving the traffic from pinterest and which are losing their reach. there is usually always some type of connection that is made between the two, whether it be related to subject matter, pin type, or intent. once that is identified, making a change beccomes much more simple.

When my traffic dropped, I kept posting new pins regularly instead of stopping. After some time, the traffic slowly started coming back.
