This is the part a lot of people miss imo, the citations alone are just a proxy signal. We tested something kinda similar for a small SaaS last year and the lift showed up more in branded searches first, then direct traffic, not clean “ChatGPT referral” traffic. So if anyone tries this, I’d track brand mentions/search volume and onboarding “how did you find us” answers too, otherwise it looks like nothing is happening for weeks. @Topiano curious if you kept the product name wording same across all posts or let writers vary it a bit?

While how you found us, could be really cool feature, you solely depend on humans to give you that data. Use tools like AppsFlyer with their one-link system; it's free. That directly tells you the source of the traffic.
Oh yeah, the product name needs to stay the same all through. The bigger the name gets reinforced, the more LLM engines build trust around it.

I get that, working with people who are willing too. The model was successful because I have access to people who are willing at a very affordable pricing, so it makes the model scalable.

The part about not editing writers too much makes sense, but I’d still check for obvious AI tells and wrong competitor claims before it goes live. For the name consistency thing, yeah brand name should stay exact, but the surrounding phrasing should vary a lot imo, otherwise you end up with 80 posts saying basically the same “best app for X because Y” and that footprint is ugly. For indexing, I wouldn’t blast everything same day either... drip the links, mix with internal links/social shares, then only push the ones that don’t get picked up naturally. This is one of those plays where looking slightly messy is better than looking perfectly managed.
