I recently started a blog and currently have only a few articles published. Should I focus on writing more content first or start building backlinks now? What worked best for you when your blog was new?

If I was starting over I would spend the first few weeks putting together a solid content base. When u have enough useful pages on ur site for people to find and expplore it is easier to think about backlinks. Then with the foundation in place i would slowly begin promoting and building links.

When a blog is brand new I like to spend most of my time creating quality content. The more solid the content base the more wortthwhile future promotion. Visitors have more reasons to sty and return. After that I would slowly begin workinng on backlinks.

Magic number are not something I subscribe to. I would take ten highly conected page over fifty page that are scattered far and wide. Begin with SEO, then construct the framework using smart link.

you should focus on building a solid foundation of quality content first, then gradually add backlinks as your site grows. A few good articles give people and search engines something worthwhile to land on, and steady progress usually works better than trying to rush either side.

I would start by building a solid content base before spending much time on backlinks. Publishing 20–30 helpful, well written articles gives your site more value and improves your chances of ranking. After that, begin earning relevant backlinks gradually. This approach has worked better for long-term SEO than chasing links too early.

I think its better to focus on writing more good content first because people are more likely to link to your blog if you have useful articles after that you can start building backlinks slowly and naturally.

No minimum is required, but my advice would be for you to wait till your site is ccompleted on a specific topic to move forward with link building. The way I have been working is to create a small cluster of sites on a particular topic and then start optimiziing the pagees which are working effectivly .

I would publish at least 15 to 30 helpful articles first. After that, start building quality backlinks slowly. A strong content base makes SEO and link building more effective.

I believe writing more content at first would be more beneficial for you, since their indexing doesn't happen instantly, so you gotta make a couple of posts every week. After that you can build backlinks on the existing posts.

Content comes before links. If you ask other bloggers for links when your site is empty, they will say no because your blog looks abandoned. Spend your first few months just writing great articles.

Anything less than 100 will be problematic for you. Google is giving preference to authority blogs only.

Focus on publishing more high-quality, targeted content first so Google clearly understands your site’s niche. Once you have a solid base of useful articles, start building backlinks gradually to support those pages. Early backlinks without enough content usually don’t perform well, so content first, then links works best.
