i spent far too much time checking DA DR and other metrics before building links once i focused on relevant sites with real traffic my results improved and the process became much simpler
For me, it was actually all about trying to achieve perfect keyword density and tweaking my meta tags all the time. Not too much progress.Looking back what is one thing you spent way too much time on that barely moved the needle? For me it was obsessing over tiny on page tweaks instead of fixing internal linking and content structure.
Link building, keyword research, technical SEO, chasing updates or something completely different?
Yeah same here that's why I usually manually outreach to only high authoritative websites now and try to get free backlinks before even paying.I used to think that cheap and lots of links from comments works and wasted lots of money in there. Also I used to buy cheap 15$ links from websites where you yourself can create accounts and do it yourself. What a fool I was
