When you join a few active groups or channels then messages come very fast. In the beginning you try to follow everything but after some time it becomes too much. Most of the time I end up muting groups not because they are useless but because I can't handle so much notifications.
Then later I forget what was important in those groups. It feels like tegeram works best only when you manage what you want to see.

How do you manage it ? Do you follow all groups or just mute most of them and check later ?

Mute everything except DMs with people you know/friends. Used to be in many groups before and it quickly got overwhelming

I usually mute most groups and keep the notification on for only important ones. I just check other groups ones or twice a day instead of following everything.

I mute all the groups. I do it to stay focused otherwise constant notifications distract me from work. I open the groups ones in a day to stay updated.

I mute most of them tbh otherwise its impossible to keep up

I only leave notifications on for the few groups that actually matter and check the rest whenever I have time saves a lot of distraction

Muted all of them. Or else my phone would be buzzing every minute. I manually check some of them that post details of some discounted products.

Yes i mute most of them as well. Otherwise it becomes impossible to keep up with the flow. I usually keep only a few important groups unmuted and check the rest when needed. It helps me stay focused without missing key updates completely.

muting groups is just a normal way to manage too much activity on Telegram. a lot of groups post irrelevant messages so muting helps to keep things organized without leaving a group completely.

Ofc, I evn ned to turn off notification for them. all the truth is underneath, and that is why I just look at it one a day manually and do not respond to any notifcation or else it will become background noise.

I mute all groups. When i need then i go and simply check the chat.

Same here.
I mute most groups and only keep notifications on for the few that are actually important. Otherwise, it just becomes too much to keep up with.
