Has anyone else started using tumblr again after leaving it for years ?

Hello,

I was looking some of my older accounts recently and came across my tumblr profile.

It made me think that how many people have actually come back to tumblr after being away for a long time.

The platform is not popular as it used to be but I still see active blogs and communities around certain topics.

For those who returned what made you give tumblr another change ?
Did you find it worth coming back or did you move on again after a while ?

I came back for the niche communities, and it's been surprisingly enjoyable despite the smaller user base.
 
I logged back into my old tumblr account a few months ago just out of curiosity. It is definitely quieter than it used to be, but there are still some active niche communities. I did not stick around for long, but it was interesting to see it is not completely dead.
 
I think Tumblr works better as a niche platform now. If you’re in the right community, it still feels alive, but it’s not the same mainstream reach anymore.
 
I logged back into my old tumblr account a few months ago just for nostalgia. I did not become active again, but I was surprised to see some niche blogs are still posting regularly.
 
I returned for niche communities honestly. Even if Tumblr is not mainstream now, some fandoms and topics are still very active there.
 
I revisited it after years away, but most of my activity has stayed on newer platforms.
