Is Anyone Else Noticing That Indexing Became Much Harder Recently?

I'm seeing the same thing lately. Google seems much more aggressive at filtering obvious SEO footprints and overused Web2.0 patterns. For me, content that looks natural, gets a few real social/referral signals, and is posted on less-saturated regional platforms indexes faster than perfectly optimized parasite pages. Also, a small tier-1 backlink push plus internal links from already-indexed pages seems to help more than manual indexing tools alone.

The rendering budget threshold has skyrocketed. Google is filtering out overused footprints instantly before they reach the main index queue. You need to get tier-2 links now from aged, high traffic properties to force a natural craw

I've noticed the same Indexing seems much slower lately and pages with a more natural structure appear to perform better than heavily optimized ones

I have noticed the same trend lately It feels like Google is much more selective about what gets indexed quickly Pages with real engagement and natural linking patterns seem to get picked up faster while heavily optimized content often sits much longer than before

I think I have been noticing this too. Feels like Google’s filtering patterns way harder now some smaller platforms are indexing faster than the usual Web2.0 plays, and content that feels more natural seems to do better.

I’ve noticed that even adding some quirky FAQs or a short user story in the middle of an article sometimes helps get things picked up a bit quicker. Lately, beefing up the “why should I care” factor with a couple of relevant anecdotes made Google wake up and smell the coffee, especially on smaller platforms. For manual indexing, I still toss a fetch request in Search Console, but even that’s slower now.
