its been 4 months since a agecny doing seo for my site but not getting clicks , how long will it take more to see the results ?

You need to track your current ranking, clicks are in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd page. You can spend ages doing SEO, if you don't perform better than your competitors won't see results. You should focus on less competitive keywords even if less traffic is gained.

4 months with nothing isn't normal, ask them for actual ranking/impression data before waiting any longer

That depends on your niche it it's too competative then it will be hard to get early clicks but you need to track your site impression and avaerage position at least so you can track whats going on. I got this click in just 28 days. you can ask them at least for a compression.
