Managing multiple (5+) Instagram accounts using same device

Hi everyone,

I’ve been looking into scaling my social media operations. While I’ve seen setups claiming "20 accounts per phone," I’m specifically looking to manage 5+ Instagram accounts on a single device without getting flagged.

Current Setup & Research:

• Device: Rooted Samsung device with Magisk and LSPosed. Passes BASIC_INTEGRITY on Play Integrity.
• Failed Attempts: - App cloners (Island, Shelter, AppCloner): These don't seem to effectively randomize IMEI, MAC, or other hardware fingerprints that Instagram tracks.
• Parallel Space: Tried managing 3 accounts simultaneously without proxies. All accounts—including my personal one—hit selfie verification immediately. Only my personal account was recovered.
• Proxies: I have high-quality, low-fraud-score static ISP proxies.
• Current Workaround: GoLogin works for browser-based tasks, but I need the native Instagram app to access specific mobile-only features like music libraries and Reels editing tools.

I have a few questions for those experienced with mobile automation:

1. How can I effectively spoof hardware fingerprints (IMEI, Device ID, etc.) at the system level so that each "instance" looks like a unique device to Instagram?
2. Is there a reliable way to bind specific proxies to specific cloned instances of the Instagram app?
3. What is the current industry standard for running multiple accounts on one device without triggering immediate "suspicious activity" or shadowbans?

Any advice on specific Magisk/LSPosed modules or alternative workflows would be greatly appreciated.

But the accounts has high ban risk, so if my 1 account gets banned other 4 does too because of linking. I've heard about graphene os but seems like its only for pixel devices. Do you have any information about other solutions to fix this linking issues? Thanks.

Try with iphone devices, their fingerprint is almost the same for all devices and nomixclonner, it is quite good

I manage 50+ insta accs my self, the current setup fails because the fingerprint setup and proxies you use are poor. I use adspower, but gologin is fine too. For proxies use mobile only, I use voidmob they left you to spoof p0f TCP/IP fingerprint as well so you proxy fingerprint can appear iOS iphone for example, not linux as most proxies do. I also verify each account with non voip number - gives even more trust. Regarding fingerpirnts on antidetect browser I go for either iOS or Mac OS and for IP fingerprint iOS. All accounts hold very well. Fraud score is important, make sure to choose not burned proxy provider.

is there any way for adding link to stories in anti-detect browsers? I'm currently using gologin but sadly the browser version of instagram lacks too many features such as editing stories, adding pools, musics to reels etc.

Same setup I mentioned works for phones as well, you don't need adspower or gologin all it needs is good p0f, proxy and sms. You can try to emulate iOS on gologin instead of Mac OS, might be better. Regarding phones I used to do same with Iphones + shadowrocket and rest same setup.

Running 5+ accounts on one device is totally doable without getting into the deep end of device spoofing — if you approach it from the right angle. I manage around 15 accounts across clients and personal projects, and here's what's worked consistently for me over the past year and a half:
The key insight most people miss: Instagram's detection system isn't just looking at device fingerprints — it's looking at behavioral patterns across accounts. You can have perfect fingerprint isolation and still get flagged if all 5 accounts follow the same people, post at the same time, or interact with the same content clusters. Conversely, I've seen people run 5 accounts on the same phone with zero masking and never get flagged because their accounts operate in completely different niches with different posting schedules.
What actually matters (in priority order):
1. IP separation — This is the single biggest trigger. Never log into more than 2-3 accounts on the same IP within a 24-hour window. Mobile proxies (4G/5G residential) are the gold standard because that's what Instagram expects to see from mobile app users. Static residential proxies work but they're a step below. Datacenter proxies will get you flagged eventually, no matter how clean they look.
2. Session isolation — Whether you use anti-detect browsers, app cloners, or separate profiles, the goal is making sure Instagram can't link the sessions. Cookies, local storage, and WebGL fingerprints all leak identity. GoLogin and AdsPower handle this well for browser-based management. For native app, dedicated work profiles on Android (with separate Google accounts) are better than app cloners.
3. Behavioral spacing — This is where 90% of people fail. If you manage 5 accounts and do all your posting, engagement, and DM responses in a 2-hour morning block, Instagram sees 5 accounts with identical activity patterns from related sessions. Space out your activity windows: Account A in the morning, Account B mid-day, Account C evening, etc. Randomize this weekly so there's no predictable pattern.
4. Warm-up new accounts slowly — New accounts on a device that already has established accounts are watched more closely. First 2 weeks: only browse, like a few posts, follow 5-10 accounts per day organically. Week 3-4: start posting once daily. Week 5+: normal activity. Skipping this warm-up period is why most multi-account setups fail in the first month.
For your specific setup: The fact that Parallel Space triggered selfie verification on ALL accounts (including your personal one) tells me Instagram linked them at the device level before the proxy could matter. Parallel Space doesn't properly isolate Android IDs and advertising IDs. If you're committed to native app usage, the most reliable method I've seen is running separate Android user profiles (not cloned apps) with each profile using its own proxy via something like ProxyDroid. Each Android user profile gets its own sandboxed app data, advertising ID, and doesn't share cookies with other profiles.
But honestly? For most use cases, anti-detect browser + mobile proxies covers 90% of what you need from the native app. The Reels editing and music library limitation is real, but you can create Reels in CapCut or InShot and upload via browser without losing much quality. I'd only go the full device-spoofing route if you're managing 20+ accounts.

A single pixel android device with something like LineageOS install is good. By default android gives you like 5 separate profiles, but if you check online you before installing LineageOS you can increase it to like 10-20.

I prefer to have different profiles because it creates clean separation for each account. Magisk and LSPosed, they have modules for exactly what you want changing imei, device info etc...

Each profile you enable a proxy and you enable a killswich, most proxy apps can send traffic through a vpn allow you to use a vpn killswitch android provides in the settings page. In other words, internet will only work in the profile when you are connected to the proxy.

I tried doing this on my PC, but it isn't working. Earlier, I used to create Instagram accounts on my PC using GoLogin, and now I'm using NST Browser.

After creating an account, I would use it normally for 1–2 days. Then I would boost an Instagram Reel. However, after running the promotion, the account would get disabled.

Is there any solution for this?

After that, I tried using a mobile phone instead. The account works for a few days, but as soon as I start running ads, it gets suspended. I use Instagram ads to bring people to my Telegram channel.

Could you guide me on what setup or approach I should follow to reduce the chances of the account getting suspended?
