Shadow ban on TikTok

Been shadow banned for over 3 weeks now, no views from FYP at all. Can't pinpoint the reason, here are some details:

Posted crypto / stock content for a couple of months with zero issues, gained 3k followers and videos would hit FYP.

Zero shilling bags, just content.

Would post ~5 vids a day, sometimes within the same hour, no issues until there was.

Was told to take a day break after shadow ban and scroll on FYP to re-warm up, but after another upload I was faced with the same issue.


Could it be from traveling? Currently in Puerto Rico and commonly travel. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you all.

Uploading 5 videos a day or uploading a large number of videos within the same hour can easily lead the system to mistake your account for spam or a bot.

How should I go ab fixing this, you think a break from posting will help? And once back spaced out uploads?
 
I think your content simply isn't attracting enough interest and is getting buried. I don't believe your Reddit account has been shadowbanned.
 
A short break can help but if you hve already been stuck for 3+ weeks, I'd also look at other factors. Frequent travel, changing IP locations, posting multiple videos within a short time, or content in sensitive niches like crypto can all reduce distribution
 
If you've had no FYP views for 3 weeks, I'd check your Account Status first. Maybe slow down on posting for a bit and try a different type of video to see if anything changes. Three weeks is definitely not normal.

Traveling, posting too frequently, or crypto related content can sometimes trigger TikTok restrictions, so slowing uploads and improving engagement quality may help recover visibility
 
Creating a new TikTok account is quite easy, so don’t spend too much time trying to recover accounts that keep having problems.
 
Hard to say whether it's still a shadowban or TikTok just doesn't care to push your content the way it used to. Don't get me wrong, a shadowban can cause posts to stop getting pushed by the algo even after it's done. Wouldn't necessarily pin it on travelling either. A lot of users travel a lot and still see normal distribution.
Might want to consider your niche and posting pattern. Crypto and finance is tricky to work with, not unlike health supplements with medical claims.
Anyway, posting 5 vids a day sounds fine but maybe posting them within the same hour or a tight timeframe could affect how the account is evaluated. Mostly guesswork here, but you get the gist.
 
no i also used to it, simple fix is slightly modify your content like i uplaod copy paste content and got shadow banned 0 view,3views like this so i jsut modify my content and upload.

Sometimes it is not a true shadow ban but a trust or distribution issue I would stop posting for a few days then come back with fewer higher quality uploads Check for any account warnings and avoid making too many changes while traveling Consistent engagement and patience have worked better than constantly testing new uploads for me
 
Please review your most recent videos. If any financial/cryptocurrency-related content is wrongly flagged, please delete or save it to private mode and submit a complaint directly through the app.

He's talking about TikTok. Did you actually read what he was saying?

Many creators have seen this happen I would slow down posting for a bit and keep uploading original content while monitoring account health patiently
