Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed that more creators are paying attention to how often viewers add videos to their Favorites.
Do you think Favorites have become an important signal for TikTok's algorithm, or are metrics like watch time, shares, and comments still far more influential?
Would love to hear your experience.

In my tests, videos with high saves did not always blow up. On TikTok, retention was the real difference maker.
 
Favorites definitely help, but watch time and completion rate are still king for the algorithm. If people save your video it’s a good bonus sign, but without strong watch time it won’t push hard
 
Although Saves/Favorites are an indicator of high viewer interest (because they want to save it to watch or use in the future), core metrics such as watch time, shares, and comments still carry much greater weight in TikTok's algorithm.
 
Favorites help because they show people want to save the video and watch again. But watch time, shares, and comments still seem more powerful for getting better reach.

Favorites stand out because they're one of the few engagement signals that usually reflect future intent rather than an immediate reaction, which could make them fundamentally different from likes or comments
 
Favorites are a helpful secondary signal, yet watch time and shares still dominate the algorithm ranking.
 
Likes are definitely helpful. Viewers will use likes to judge your post.
