Sad News to Share

Very sad to hear. He was one of my favorite person here. He was more like a guide or senior family member to me. He helped me whenever I asked and also reminded me of rules when I broke them.

Rest in peace. His loss is a big loss for me and the forum.

Very sad news. BTB was one of the pillars of this community and someone who was always willing to help others without asking for anything in return. His presence around the forum will be impossible to replace.

Over the years, I had the privilege of seeing firsthand how much he cared about both the forum and the people in it. His knowledge, dedication, humor, and kindness left a lasting impression on so many of us.

My thoughts are with his family and loved ones. Rest in peace, BTB. You will be missed.

From the moment I came on board, Greg was unfailingly supportive, friendly and helpful. I'm sure that will come as no surprise to many of you who were fortunate enough to know him longer than I did.

He was a huge part of why I have really enjoyed working at BHW, always around in the evenings when I'm on shift to share advice and stories. I felt like he took me under his wing and I learned so much from him from day one and looked up to him.

He was also extremely kind as relates to my family. He would often tell me if I needed to come offline to tend to issues at home (I'm a single parent and carer for my son and daughter, the latter of whom has a very high level of needs) that he would be more than happy to cover for me.

I miss him a lot - I came to know him as a friend and I'll always regard him as such. Rest well, Greg.
 
I know I'm one of the newer team members with BHW, but it was very clear from day 1 that BTB loved this community and all of you. And of course it was always the highlight of my week when I could share concert footage with him and elicit the best responses that I can't really post in polite company.

He will be missed.
