A few years ago, most marketers would immediately say facebook, instagram or google.

Now it feels like platforms such as reddit, quora, telegram, linkedin and even niche communities are generating surprisingly good results for some businesses.

If you had to pick only one platform for traffic, leads, or sales in 2026, which would it be and why?

I am curious to hear what is actually working for people right now.

Bing yahoo and syndicate network the search engine alternative to Google.
Best ROI but it can do better.

for me Focusing on where your target audience is already active is the best solution and reddit is performing well in many niches right now, as community recommendations are more trusted than ads In 2026 the best platform doesn’t always win, the biggest platform wins where you’re able to constantly add value and create confidence.

For me LinkedIn has given the best ROI. The traffic at LinkedIn is lower than other social media platforms but the quality of leads is much better on LinkedIn. People come on LinkedIn for business, networking and professional services so conversations are higher. But the best platform still depends on your niche and target audience.

if I had to pick just one in 2026, I’d probably choose LinkedIn for B2B and Reddit for niche communities
not because they have the most traffic, but because the intent and engagement can be much higher than on larger platforms

In the end, the best platform is usually the one where your audience already spends time, not necessarily the biggest one
