One thing that has worked better than I expected is focusing on topical relevance and updating existing content Small improvements seem to have more impact than constantly publishing new pages

i would say content quality, consistency and a good user experience always works better in SEO.
 
one thing that has worked better than expected for me is updating old content instead of constantly publishing new articles. Improving outdated posts., adding fresh information and targeting related keywords has helped boost rankings much faster than I expected.
 
Content clusters have been working surprisingly well for me. Instead of just writing individual articles, I've been building topic clusters with a pillar page and supporting posts that interlink strategically. The whole cluster tends to rank better than individual pages ever did. Also noticed that updating old content with fresh data and better structure gives a bigger boost than I expected - some pages that were stagnant for months jumped 10+ positions after a thorough refresh.
 
in my experience, instead of creating new articles, it is better to update old articles with new statistics images, and internal links. by adding useful information and improving old articles, their traffic will increase.
 
It has been more successful than anticipated to update old content. By updating content, adding an image, adding more informative content, and fixing internal links, which has increased traffic to pages with search intent.
 
Content pruning surprised me most tbh. Merging weak pages, fixing internal links and updating old winners has moved rankings faster than publishing another 20 AI posts lol.
 
refreshing old content has been wildly underrated this year, faster and cheaper wins than i expected going in
 
i think SEO basics are still giving good results when they are done properly with patience.
