I recently came across a few discussions about reddit account suspensions and was curious about how permanent suspensions work.

for those who have gone through this process , is it actually possible to restore a permanently suspended reddit account?

I have seen some people get their accounts back after appeal, but many permanent suspensions stay permanent. It mostly depends on the reason and whether Reddit accepts the appeal with enough proof.

Yes, but it depends on the reason for the suspension. If the suspension was triggered by a mistake or false positive, submitting an appeal can sometimes get the account restored. If it was suspended for serious or repeated violations, the changes of getting it back are usually very low. I have seen successful appeals before, but they are definitely the exception rather than the rule.

Yes, It is possible if the suspension was triggered by a mistake (false spam detection, account compromise, automated enforcement error, etc.), sometimes users succeed by submitting an appeal and explaining the situation clearly to the admins and they will review the case and reinstate the account if they found the suspension was incorrect.

In most cases, a permanent suspension is difficult to reverse. If the violation was serious, Reddit rarely changes the decision.

Yeah, it's possible, but it really depends on why the account was suspended. Some people get their accounts back after appealing, while others don't. If it was a mistake or a false flag, the chances are usually a lot better.

as a beginner, i would say a permanently suspended Reddit account can sometimes be restored but it depends on the causes of suspension.

if the violation is considered serious , the decision is usually final and rarely considered by the platform.

Permanent suspension is normally irreversible if it wasn’t a blatant mistake, but even then, an appeal will rarely work
The best scenario would be a successful appeal; otherwise, people just move on with their lives using another account

Yes, just create apologies email via GPT and send to them, your acc will be back in 24 hours

I see that some permanently suspended accounts do get restored through the appeal process. It seems to depend a lot on why the account was suspended in the first place.

Yup, it is possible in some cases, but it usually depends on why the account was suspended. If it was a mistake or a minor policy violation, submitting a clear and polite appeal can sometimes get the account reinstated.

tip: be honest in your appeal, explain the situation calmly, avoid sending multiple tickets, and review Reddit's rules before appealing. I've seen accounts restored, but patience is key since reviews can take time.

If a Reddit account has been permanently suspended, there is usually no way to recover it. In my opinion, the best option is to move on and use a different account rather than spending too much time trying to restore it.

You can appeal through the link in the ban message, but the success rate is really low. better move is to just start fresh with a clean setup: new ip, new browser profile, new email. Don't reuse anything from the old account.

I have noticed a recent accounts ban wave from Reddit. Any noticed or experienced it. Can things normalize in coming days

it depend on the reason if you are using your account for promotion its gone. same for ban envasion

Yes, there is always a chance but no guarantee. on reddit the appeal process is usually the only option for a permanently suspended account.

Yes, I have seen permanently suspended accounts get restored after a successful appeal, especially when the suspension was triggered by a mistake or false positive. However, if the suspension was for a serious or repeated violation, then there is lower chances.

reddit is not known for maintaining accounts long term. The platform is well known for banning accounts randomly. i dont think anyone seriously tries to build a massive presence on the platform since it is averse to self-promotion. If you get banned just start a new one and forget about it
