We keep niches separated. No pharma/porn/casino content on general niche sites, those are handled on separate, niche-relevant domains. I can share some general niche samples, but prefer to send them via PM.

Small observation from one recent test.

In February, a client from the iGaming niche (US geo) wanted to start carefully with just 5 homepage placements.

After the placements went live:

— traffic started growing
— several keywords moved into Top 10
— the page began ranking for additional long-tail queries

But a few weeks later, most positions slowly rolled back.

What we noticed:

5 links can create movement, but in competitive niches they often work more like an initial push rather than long-term stabilization.

In many cases, stronger retention comes from:

— gradual link velocity
— diversified anchors
— additional supporting links to the same page
— broader page-level reinforcement

That’s one of the reasons we mainly focus on package placements now instead of single links.

Interesting to see how often the “small test first” approach creates temporary movement but not enough consistency to hold positions.

Why Consistency Matters in Competitive Niches​

One of our clients in the entertainment niche built roughly 200 links with us over a 6-month period across different pages and keyword groups.

The results:

• Organic traffic grew to ~56K/month
• Referring domains increased from ~300 to 2,800+
• Organic keywords reached 2,700+
• 500+ keywords entered the Top 3

For some keyword groups we used anchor links, while others were supported with branded and non-anchor links to keep the growth profile more balanced and avoid concentrating all authority on exact-match anchors.

What we noticed was that after each round of link acquisition, the site would:

• Strengthen existing rankings
• Start ranking for additional long-tail keywords
• Expand its overall keyword footprint

This is another example of something we see repeatedly in competitive industries:

Growth rarely comes from a few isolated placements.

More often, rankings improve when authority is built consistently over time.

One recent example:

A gambling project started placements with us on May 14.

In less than a month:

• Organic traffic: 47 → 183 (+289%)
• Organic keywords: 15 → 27 (+80%)
• DR: 82 → 83

We don't claim that every improvement comes exclusively from our placements. Rankings are influenced by many factors including content, technical SEO, internal linking, and overall site development.

However, the project showed positive growth during the first month of cooperation.
 
A small observation from our recent crypto orders. Many buyers focus on DR, traffic and referring domains when choosing placements.However, one factor that often gets overlooked is placement duration.

We've seen plenty of offers on the market with 3-6 month placements. For short-term campaigns that may be enough, but for ongoing SEO projects many clients prefer links that stay live for longer periods.

That's one of the reasons why our crypto homepage placements are kept live for 12 months by default, with renewal available afterward.

It's simply another factor worth considering when comparing PBN offers.
