Does posting every day still help instagram in 2026?

Posting a lot of posts is fine, but it's best to focus on the quality of the content. Posting every day can help increase your reach, but it's only effective if you maintain the quality of your content. Most people will prioritize posting 4-5 truly quality articles per week rather than posting low quality articles. Attractive content will increase the ability to create interaction and that is really important.

it is still one of the main rules of all social media. Post regular and daily updates, but if you over do it you will get a penalty for bot behaviour. I have found about 3 posts per day, spaced out evenly to be about the correct amount of posting

Consistency is very important in every work. Like if you targetting growth on Instagram, you may not post videos every single day but you should do related work daily. Like you should keep some videos in stock which you post later when you are I'll.
 
I think posting every day can still be beneficial for growing your Instagram account. However, it should be combined with high-quality content that is engaging and valuable to your audience.
 
Accounts that post once or twice a day tend to attract new followers and engage more quickly than those with less frequent posting schedules.
 
Posting every day will contribute to growth as long as you maintain high quality content, otherwise, posting every day will not work very well.
For most people, posting three to five good posts per week will do more for growth compared to posting a lot each day
