How Many successful Subreddits do you own and manage?

The number of subscribers is important, but activity counts more. Some of the most successful subreddits that I’ve had have been ones with 1k-3k subscribers who
participate more actively than other much bigger communities

As a beginner, I do not own or manage any large subreddits yet but I find the topic very unique.

May I ask, how are you monetizing your subreddits? Companies pay you to be able to promote their products on the subreddit? Not really too familiar with how reddit monetization works.

- Big communities that aren't active are probably fake / botted. No way a smaller community will outdo my community with 40k and i have some STELLAR smaller subs....... i mean they can get 1k-2k upvotes on a post but my main sub has posts doing 10k+ upvotes

what i learned as a beginner is managing one active and helpful subreddit successfully is an achievement because building a community takes patience and effort.

Why does it matter?

my sub with 40K does 1M posts throughout the week.

I did over half a million visitors in the last 7 days .

That's lite work.

THe problem with this, too much conversation.

People want free consultation and to brain drain me.

I like to get to the money.

I like clients who either have a budget or are ready to pull the trigger after short talk.

I'm going to create a marketplace service for this (OnlyFans & Music artist Promos)

OR

I'm going to sell out all my subs.

I had a fun 6 month run and made a very impressive group of subreddits but I'm about to go stealth again and focus on a bigger crypto project I believe.

There's people who will target you and get you removed from that niche if they want.

And yes, I regularly top keywords on reddit > which trickles to Google > then trickles other searches thanks to my subs.

You can Google search some big keyword brands/names and you'll see the top reddit posts show up for it. BIG SEO.

The power of reddit is underrated . If you have a reddit that gets headlines, you can do a lot of SEO/Market Influencing wizardry.

How can people get you removed? Do you recommend just having 1 or 2 other accounts and inviting them all to mod? Reddit won't be able to link these? or do you mean having others you trust as mods?

Whatever option you have.

Top subreddits are owned by organized groups , Some with political affiliation. They make tons of money behind the scenes from serious campaigns that can range from record label & media company promotions down to food brands and olitical propaganda/slander.

There's a US politician that was just exposed for funding these campaigns -- def paid some fo these guys.

So when you scale up the ranks and start influencing post rankings, those groups may try to get all your accounts suspsended so your sub dies and/or they take it.

May sound crazy to inexperienced but this is reality of today.
