What slowed you down the most on YouTube?

for sure that i didnt plan ahead of time each upload when starting a niche channel, so i would run out of ideas and then stress about what to drop last minute, and because of that last minute idea thing, i slacked on the quality of the video, so now when starting a channel, i make sure to plan each video to not make the same mistake

The biggest things that slowed my growth was overthinking every upload and waiting for perfection before posting. Once I focused on consistency, improving with each video, and paying attention to what viewers actually enjoyed, growth became much faster.
 
Not mastering stayed to watch ratio.

Need to master that to unlock mega viral scale.
 
Wasting weeks over editing and trying to make every video a perfect masterpiece completely killed my initial growth. You end up burning out and uploading once a month, which destroys your momentum. The fix is setting up an assembly line workflow script on Monday, bulk shoot on Tuesday, and limit your editing window to just 4 hours max. Quantity beats quality until you find your groove.
 
Niche hopping too early completely destroyed my first channel. I kept changing topics every time a video flopped, thinking the algorithm hated me. It completely confused the audience profile. Pick one micro-niche, commit to a strict 30-video roadmap without checking your stats, and stick to a single target keyword group before tweaking anything.

You must be regularly active if you leave it for a while it will really damage your growing process
 
The biggest mistake that slows down the growth of early YouTubers is the lack of a clear content niche and focusing too much on themselves instead of providing value to viewers. Creating disorganized content prevents the YouTube algorithm from identifying the target audience.
 
Too much of perfectionist with the design instead of consistenly publishing and improving the content.
