Many people recommend linkedin for networking and finding clients, but I am curious about real experiences. Is linkedin still generating quality leads for you nowadays, or are other platforms giving better results.

LinkedIn can be very powerful but you have to use it in the right way, quality outreach, add value etc, don't just spam sell

Indeed LinkedIn is still really strong platform to find clients, ofc it will take some time but it worth it

I've also attended a seminar once at an event in Vegas, that dealt with the advanced prospect search when using LinkedIn Pro - I'd look into it.

Then again, there's nothing more annoying then getting constantly messaged from multiple payment provider reps or similar.

So it should indeed be about a connection and building credibilty first, and a soft sell second (if that's your intention).

It works better when you build trust with useful posts and real conversations, not just cold pitching everyone.

The leads are usually slower, but higher quality.

LinkedIn still works for me, but not as well as it did a few years ago. I still get clients from LinkedIn, but I combine it with email outreach and content marketing. For B2C offers, I've seen better results from Facebook, Instagram, and even niche communities.

LinkedIn is still better than any other platform to find companies/profiles/leads and to find potential clients

yes i will recommend linkedin for networking and finding clients but i usually treat it more as a relationship-building platform than a quick lead source. In my experience, people who consistently post useful content and engage with others tend to get better results than those sending cold pitches.

I think linkedin is still one of the better platforms for lead generation, especially in B2B niches. The quality of leads can be very good because people are already using the platform for business, networking, and professional discussions. I have noticed that simply sending connection requests is not enough anymore. Consistent engagement and sharing useful content seem to make a much bigger difference now.

depends on who you're selling to. if your buyers sit behind company email addresses, linkedin is still hard to beat. the mistake is treating it like a lead vending machine. most people pitch too early. the guys getting results are building familiarity for weeks before asking for anything.

In my experience, LinkedIn still generates quality leads, especially for B2B services. The key is consistent networking, valuable content, and personalized outreach. Other platforms can work too, but LinkedIn remains one of the strongest channels for building trust and attracting high-value clients.

You should run a few test campaigns and then evaluate the results. I’ve tried it myself before, but I wasn’t very successful.

Yes, LinkedIn can still be effective in generating B2B leads, if used properly and strategically.

Honestly I feel LinkedIn is still good, but platforms like Twitter/X or niche communities sometimes give faster replies and engagement.

I think LinkedIn is well worth investing your time and effort in if you're looking for potential clients. The platform has grown significantly in recent years and has become more powerful than ever for networking, building your personal brand, and generating high-quality leads.

It still generates quality leads. What you can do is if you come a common thing thing with your prospective client or any other person you want to network with, you can invite them for a quick coffee either off or online. You can ask questions to the other person, like what he/she does for work, what are their interests etc and when they ask you back you can pitch your product/service.

I think when doing outreach with linkedin, if you sound like a bot and just automate everything it wont be very effective, but if you actually do it right, dont sound like a bot, offer value, then its one of the best if not the best way to generate b2b leads

LinkedIn still works well for me—the leads are fewer, but the quality is usually much higher.
The key isn't posting more, it's starting genuine conversations with the right people.
