Ads Not Spending

My ad campaigns have been running for about 6 hours but I'm not seeing any spending. What should I do in this situation? Should I switch to a new account? And I want to know what the cause might be

in my experience, having many reasons to make ads no spend:
page restricted
fb error in distribution
card restrict
problem in account
then u should change from the cheapest one. price of ad account will be more expensive

This error usually occurs when your account's country code differs from your payment card's. Please be patient; it will only cost a small amount when you first start.

If it’s already 2 days and same issue on many accs, I’d stop blaming campaign settings first. Usually that’s card/BIN getting soft blocked, page quality issue, or the BM/ad acc has no trust so delivery never starts even when it says active. Check if a tiny clean campaign with broad audience + auto placements can spend $1-2, using same card/page. If that also no spend, switching campaign won’t help... change the weak part, not the whole setup.

Don't rush to switch to a new account. Try checking for common causes such as:

- The ad is still being reviewed

- budget is too low

- taget object is too narrow

- payment method problem...

In many cases, ads take 24-48 hours to deliver consistently. Only consider switching to a new account if the current account is truly limited or has persistent errors

Six hours is usually not enough to panic especially on a new campaign Sometimes the platform is still reviewing ads learning the audience or processing billing checks I would wait at least 24 hours before making major changes unless there is an obvious account restriction or ad rejection showing in the dashboard

Please double-check that your advertising campaign has been approved.
Check if your account has any spending limits set.
Ensure your payment card always has sufficient funds.

Don't switch accounts yet! Since the status is "active", your ad is approved but likely facing a delivery bottleneck. This usually happens if your bid cap is too low or your targeting audience is too narrow for the algorithm to start. Give it 12–24 hours to kick off; if it still hasn't spent anything by tomorrow, just duplicate the campaign with a broader audience or higher budget to force it into the auction.

personally i would wait a little longer because new campaigns sometimes take time before spending starts if everything is approved check your audience budget and payment settings first changing to a new account immediately may not solve the actual issue

just duplicate the campaign or slightly bump the budget to kickstart the delivery system. Give it another 12 hours before you pull the plug and burn a new profile

If multiple accounts do the same thing, its probably not the acc tbh. I’d check the page, payment setup and creative footprint first, otherwise you’ll just keep burning fresh accounts for no reason.

I'd wait at least 24 hours before making changes. Zero spend in the first few hours can happen while the system completes review or starts delivery.

This is a fairly common situation for new accounts and can last up to 24 or even 48 hours. During that time, you can create more bait ads or copy running ads to trigger spending.

from my experience, just check if your target audience is too narrow, make sure there are no issues with the payment gateway, then duplicate that campaign. the system will trigger and start spending again right away

I'd give it a bit more time before switching accounts. Sometimes delivery is delayed by review, audience size, bid strategy, or payment checks.
If there's still no spend after 24 hours, then review your campaign setup first before assuming the account is the problem.
